Human Pheromones

People have long debated how much influence scent has on sexual attraction. I'm not talking about the newest hot scent that gets sprayed on you by attractive young women when you visit an upmarket department store, rather it's the virtually unnoticeable smells we all produce normally, human pheromones.

Every animal, including humans, have a unique aroma that they give off in order to attract a suitable mate. Can you remember the last time you found yourself strangely attracted to someone but you couldn't figure out why? They weren't the sort of person you were usually attracted to, but you WERE attracted ??? very attracted in a sexual sense.

This happens to everyone and it's definitely pheromones at work. For reasons that can not yet be explained, some people produce more human pheromones than others and guess what? ??? they're the ones who are always out on a date and never alone when they don't want to be. Someone always wants to be with them.

Some people produce more pheromones at different times of the year and some, especially women, produce more during ovulation. This is nature's way of ensuring the survival of the species by securing a mate to fertilize those eggs.

We all know of or have experienced the phenomenon of a group of women who live together usually have their monthly menstrual periods at the same time. The pheromones the women produce influence each other. Again, nobody knows yet why this happens but research is continuing.

A recent study was carried out with couples and twins put in the same position at bars as a social experiment. The overwhelming result of the experiment was that the men and women who applied human pheromones before they went out were approached much more often and the couples who participated hugged, kissed and had sex more often. In the twins experiment, the twin that applied the human pheromones received double the attention and people approaching than the twin that didn't apply pheromones.

So if you've been in the dating doldrums or in the sexual desert lately, it might be worth a try to find some human pheromones before your next night out.

Valentine s Day is traditionally a day that celebrates love, particularly that of the courtly, romantic and erotic kind. What is the ideal gift? This is a question that ultimately, only the giver and recipient can answer for themselves, although I certainly have some suggestions, but first a little history of Valentines Day. The origins of Valentine s day aren t entirely clear. There is a...

Have you ever considered what role human pheromones play in our day-to-day lives. Is there an invisible force that attracts humans to one another other than our looks and personalities? Is there truth in the rumour that we emit a substance called a pheromone to entice the opposite sex, or for that matter, the same sex in our general direction. Well, if we take a leaf out of the book of our...

A useful, although reductive, theory on attraction comes from evolutionary psychology. It holds that we are drawn to others on the basis of our assessment of their reproductive fitness. We weigh up physical qualities (symmetry, health, youth, strength in men, child-bearing indicators in women), material possessions (wealth), social skills (status, charity, humour, confidence) and cultural factors...

Male Female Attraction through Pheromones The only way the lower living beings like ants, butterflies, birds, dogs or even a tiger can communicate is through pheromones. The pheromones are the way they communicate as they cannot communicate through oral or written word. The communication starts when the particular species it at its very best to procreate and ends when the species is not in a...

Any time you interact with another person, whether in business or from an interpersonal standpoint, even the clerk at the department store, there is a relationship there. It may be totally casual because you will likely never see that person again, or it may be a relationship that you wish to continue, such as a first date with someone, or even the maintenance of the relationship that you have...

How do pheromones work? Human body naturally produces pheromones every day. Individuals who give off higher than average amounts of pheromones usually have greater success with attracting members of the opposite sex, while individuals who don t produce a high level of pheromones attract fewer potential mates. Pheromones are odorless chemicals and they are detected through an organ inside the...

Pheromones are chemicals that send signals to other members of the same species. These signals could serve many purposes such as marking out territory (As dogs and cats do) or to mark a food trail (How ants all seem to converge on the same food source) or to send alarm signals warning other members of the species of impending danger. However, the most widely known purpose and the one which has...

People feel sexually attracted to other people on account of a number of physical traits that could be identified, at the level of each individual, as pleasant and seductive. This means that physical appearance has the greatest influence on determining the type of partner we want, at least in the beginning of an intimate, erotic relationship. As a result, we are prompted into categorizing people...
